We met in high school.

Our story begins in high school. Two high school seniors, Brian is wearing a black trench coat and ripped jeans, Juliet is wearing T-shirt and jeans. It’s her first day. Can you imagine starting a new school in the middle of your senior year? Talk about a drag! Brian and his friend brightened her day up with their new student routine. Brian jumped over desks as he approached while they shouted, “New Student!” Actually, he kind of scared her.

The next day…Juliet watched him read a comic book until his friend told her that Brian wrote a horror novel. She of course talked him into letting her read it. That night, Juliet had all the windows open and all the lights on in the house. He definitely scared her.

We started dating a couple of days before Christmas. Juliet called him her best Christmas present.

We went to Prom together, and in 1996 the two of us married.

We like to
visit unusual places.

When we moved to Georgia, we stopped by New Orleans and stayed in a haunted hotel in the French Quarter. Before we left. we stopped by the grave of the Voodoo queen, Marie Laveau.

We live about 30 minutes from Bodega Bay where Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" was filmed.

Not that far north from Bodega Bay is where the final shot of Goonies was filmed at Blind Beach in Jenner, CA.

Our friend Bill Maxwell, wrote a live action role playing game book called Fading Suns: Passion Play. He talked Juliet into holding a skull for the picture in his book.

In 2013, Juliet published Brian's book, "Demon Dance" with KDP and Create Space for their 17th wedding anniversary. She wrote the sequel, "Mind of the Beast" with him.

Brian was one of writers who helped give Oswald the Lucky Rabbit a voice for the first time in Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two.
